So I didn't like shooting right off the riser of my pse. Didn't like how cold is was, didn't like the feel of it. So I did some looking and found a paracord wrap that I really liked. Had some paracord lying around so I gave it a shot. This is the results... Once the DIY forum is up I will put up a how too if anyone is interested.

It was only about 5 feet or so. And I did it while watching tv in about 20-30 minutes. You have to be patient and careful. I will start working on a good diy to post soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks good, seen it done before. Also seen where you take the middle out of the para cord and just use the outer sheath for a smaller profile. Lots of guys use hockey tape also.
Yeah I use hockey tape, thin grip is much harder to torque, that's why so many pros just wrap tape and ditch the stock grip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm going to try tennis racquet grip possibly. Just don't know how I will get the stock rubber grip off...
I threaded some in between the holes on the riser though. It looks pretty tight and can help you if you need some 550
Looks good. I personally would not hunt with it as it will hold sweat and allow the bacteria to grow. That stinks.
Get a block of wood and make some is what I did. Made a set for a g5 quest I had. They are on eBay now.made them out of figured maple

You can get the factory rubber grip off with a blow dryer and then slowly working it with a non abrasive point. Like a plastic pick or something. But the heat from the hair dryer will help release the glue.
