Tomorrow is Michigan's last day for whitetails... you'll find me 20' in a tree somewhere between Canada and Wisconsin.
I was planning on giving it a try this weekend, but decided to take the 8 hour trip from Ohio and go see the Packers play. I'll be the cold looking one in the end zone!!
That game is going to be a tough one to swallow.. We better have another offseason dedicated to improving the Defense.
I'll agree. I am never a blame injuries guy because every team has them, but this defense was without a lot of talent. I think we need to get players back and have strong draft for linebackers and big men. I would like to see them trade up (if the player is there) to pick either a offense of lineman or defensive lineman.)
Fellas, is everyone pretty much done hunting? I cleaned the shotgun and ML yesterday and put them away until fall. My bow was put away a few weeks ago, so I'm done for this year. I'll take a few weeks off then start looking for sheds.

It was great being on this team. This was the craziest years I have ever had. Sorry I didn't pull my weight. It was fun being on this team though and I look forward to seeing how you guys do this year.

Finally got some trail camera pictures of deer during the day. Got two decent bucks. This is the smaller of the two. Going to try to get out there this weekend if at all possible.
It was a fun year...tough hunting for me but fun. I really enjoyed being on this team. Wish we could have done a little better. Getting out of this sub freezing weather for a few days and heading to Florida. Already looking forward to next year though. Just booked my Colorado elk hunt for September. We gave it a pretty good run. Congrats to all who were able to put some on the ground! I will say after being on 3 teams this was the most enjoyable. Been fun talking to you all this season. Good luck next year. Time to head out and cut some more trees doing food plot prep
