What irritates me are pics like this. Not only are they dark and very grainy. And yes... this is a pic of that 200+ inch giant. He lives as of 1/02.
Ouch hard to see in the smaller verison, anyway, deer on the the right. he is quartering away little and is looking the other direction.
Maybe I just needed to knock down that little bit of grass that is 12" tall to get better pics. The Moultrie not pics have quite a bit of noise in them but at least the noise has a consistent pattern.

Wow Mind is made up on what cam to buy this year. The new Steath black, you see the clarity it gives and the 100 ft black flash is super and the $185 price is good to for what your getting.Anyone else take a look at them? The battery life has increased also from 3 months to a year. Rocky
Yah, I did see those claims. I will have to see a independent review of it before I jump on their bandwagon. Historically they have not had good cameras.

Kinda what I was thinking. I've seen them low as $45 before shipped. Almost pulled the trigger but hesitated. Might have to reconsider.
I like them for the money. My next camera wil be that M-880 C. I like the color night time pictures and still use an old white flash. Yes I still kill deer.
How long do the batteries last in these cameras? If you guys don't like using C batteries you can buy C battery to AA adapters. Each adapter will take 5 AA batteries. I have used them with Alkline and NiMH batteries. And if you have never check into Eneloop NiMH batteries you should. Save you a bundle in the long run regardless if you are using them around the house or in trail cameras. However you would probably be in tears if a $60 trail camera was stolen with eneloop batteries in it as the batteries might cost as much as the trail camera. lol! (They are really no that expensive.) They also perform better then a alkaline and the are environmental friendly. We never need batteries other then AAA. Here is what an adapter looks like.
