Boy did that come full circle. What a promotional stunt they pulled to introduce a new product line.

How do you know it's a step backwards? Who is to say mossbergs offer is the better one.
Maybe like a lot of people in the hunting industry they wouldn't let their like or dislike of a product get in the way of business.

When you step down from shooting Benelli for YEARS to shooting a a Mossberg, its screams sell out. I thought Phil was a guy that stood behind his word?

You aren't going to argue the quality difference between the 2, are you?

Quality is superior on the benelli for sure but I own 2 mossberg items and love them....price tags mean a lot to me when they both perform the same function flawlessly.....plus I dont feel as bad when I beat the crap out my mossbergs in the field

That's about the stupidest thing I heard. Do you really think Phil or any one else can't kill as many freaking ducks with a mossbergs as he can with an Benelli...
Was he shooting and endorsing Benelli out of the goodness of his heart or for a pay check?

The only suckers that attached to brands are the ones paying to use them.

People switch jobs, switch companies, switch teams, switch endorsements everyday. Welcome to adulthood.

This would seem consistent with what pretty much everyone in the hunting industry does. $ determines what equipment they use.

It does not really matter anyway. Phil shoots an old browning A5 when he is not bound by a contract to shoot whichever brand is paying him. I thought this move was weird then I started thinking about it. When they were sponsored by benelli I am sure they were getting paid decent enough money but now that this is technically there own line of guns they stand to make much more.

You did, when you come and rant how the man isn't a man of his word, is a sell out ..ect ect ect....over what a shotgun endorsement?
Really? Come on, think about what your saying.
If the guys on here get a Hoyt endorsement and drop Matthews ...would that make them sells outs? Bad guys? Make there word meaningless?

But these ones come with the stars and stripes bandanna... That daps up your street cred.

Similar concept to mobow "don"ning a cowboy hat. Upped his street cred to Diamond Don status.
