Alabama did not want to be there and you could tell it. I don't think their minds were in that game. I think they have the if we're not in the national championship mentality screw it we don't want to be there.
Guys...according to Mark May before the game Alabama is still the best team in the country. It's ok though, because the team was obviously not motivated to play in this game, so we should just forget about this game like the Utah game that never happened. Do you think Saban would really allow his team to lose to Bob Stoops? No. Obviously this was a sympathy game because Saban didn't want Stoops to lose his job. Come on guys, let's think logically here.
I'm not a Bama fan but I was pulling for them. Oklahoma played great! The redshirt freshman QB is going to be a stud! Y'all must have watched a different game than I did.... I didn't think Alabama came out flat and unmotivated, I think Oklahoma was the better team last night with superior quarterback play and a nasty pass rush.
Bama came out on fire. Oklahoma's hurry up killed bama, those guys were sucking air. That pass rush got into AJ's head the 2nd half. All of these SEC fans I work with have nothing to say this morning, and I love it!
As a fairly neural observer, with a some what unique protective(being a Mizzou fan an having been a part of both the Big 12 and SEC), this didn't surprise me too much. This is what OU can do. They recruit top tier athletes just like Bama, and with extra time to prepare, Stoops had then ready to play and he out coached Saban last night.
