I love my ION! One charge will surly last all day. 50-60 holes through 3' of ice, no problem. I am on snowmobile all the time, so I either carry the battery in my bibs, or in a small six pack cooler with a couple of hand warmers thrown in. Pop the house up and then drill makes a big difference when it's cold and windy!

Ion is also a very good auger. Definitely need to keep the battery warm though.

Here are a few pictures of my Lake Erie trip a couple weekends ago. 11.3 lbs.jpg 10.7 lbs.jpg 10.3 lbs.jpg The right pic weighted 11.3 lbs. middle 10.7lbs left 10.3lbs. Over the 2 day trip I caught 14 Walleyes with 7 being over 25" and my biggest perch to date a 13.125". I'm still waiting for more pictures from my buddies. Trip of a lifetime! I'm hoping for another cold winter next year. ;)

Well I've just about had it with ice fishing this year I'd like to bring out the fly rod before June, but that seems like wishful thinking. Last trip out me and a few friends caught 17 salmon, so if it was the last trip of the year it was a good one!

Awesome fish! I know quite a few guys who were hammering the walleyes on Erie this year. How far out from shore were you? A lot of the guys I talked to were 7-10 miles.

Well our trip was only two days because a blizzard is coming through but it was successful. I caught 7 perch over 13" and kept 20 over 11". My biggest was a 14" 1 pound 9 oz. slob of a perch. I didn't get good pics because it was too windy to set up my tripod. Here are some pics[IMG][IMG][IMG] uploadfromtaptalk1396228510633.jpg

I've been done for about a month. This year was kinda slow for walleyes, but I did manage my personal best pike. 42 inch slob[IMG]

Fished 4 hours today. Didn't get into the schools of big ones like last weekend but we did end up with 18 keepers. Caught over 100 fish.

Ended up with 25 more jumbo perch today. To top it off I caught my biggest walleye to date.. Only 21 inches but still a good feeling. My heart broke a bit when I had to put it back down the hole - would have been some awesome fillets.

All in all a great weekend on the ice.
