Any Waterfowlers?

Jealous!! I'd love to get into some snows and/or specks some day. Definitely on the bucket list. Good luck!

 

I went on a march snow goose hunt 2 years ago In Missouri. It was fantastic. When we arrived, the DNR reported est population at 750k. By the next day it was almost 1.5 mil . Nothing like being in a coffin blind and having 10-50 thousand birds flying over you with with 500+ birds coming into your spread. Without a doubt, it is something, any waterfowler need to put on their bucket list.

 

That sounds like something everybody needs to have on their bucket list...

I laughed out loud when that one almost hit you towards the end! Awesome video.

 

Our season has been closed for two weeks because of the split. Open's back up Saturday morning. I'm ready!

 

That's sweet. A dead mounted Blue is one day going to take a place on my wall. Good stuff! See you in April?

Haha waaaay too close for comfort for me. I'm just really glad the dog was out retrieving or she would have gotten smoked.

 

My buddy got this one mounted but I will someday as well! If you ever get the chance, trust me, it's worth every penny and minute!

 

Someday! I plan on moving west of here within the next few years, who knows where I'll end up.

First Penny!!! Killed two beautiful drake pintails and two greenheads! Here's the one I'm mounting!

 

I just found this post! Looks like everybody has been doing well. Couple buddies an I hammed em yesterday morning in the snow! Ended up with 7 geese an 7 ducks between 4 guys.

 

Planned on hitting up the beach this morning but I woke up to -15 degree temps.. Didn't seem like a wise choice to head out solo in the kayak. t-minus 6 days til the sea ducks start dropping like flies.
