For pigs/hogs and buffalo. The GT has a better straightness than the piledriver at .003, but it is lighter. The Eastons are the most expensive, but are they the best? The only real concern I have with the Easton FMJ is can you cut them with a Weston Arrow Saw and the standard wheel/blade?
We have the Easton FMJ at our shop and sell a lot of them, the other tech and myself that work here both shoot them and they are great. We also do cut them on a regular electric arrow cutter with no problem
i shoot the piledrivers and they are super tough. I don't shoot much passed 40 yards and at that range the straightness isn't an issue for me.
Fmjs rock! I love mine. Hit hard and are very tough. I highly recommend them Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
Gold tips and fmj are both good arrows. Used both on deer. If you want more weight I would use the fmj's. More weight is why they hit hard as others have said. More kinetic energy. I also think the fmj's pull easier for practice. Sent from my SCH-R530U using Tapatalk
I have heard great things about Easton FMJ's. A great heavy arrow that packs some punch for game bigger than deer. I use Gold Tip arrows now and they are great for deer but I haven't hunted anything else with them either.
