Well i've been out 3x this week and nearly froze to death all 3 times lol. The wife and I went Jeeping around our place last night driving crazy in the snow and I ran up on the big boy of our place hanging out with 12 other deer under neath my stand...

We have 1/4 inch of ice here plus almost 6 inches of snow on top of that. It was a fun drive to work this morning......

Ugh... What a game for sure. I froze my *** off and was pissed off from the first 30 seconds of the game till the end. The best thing was when two HUGE OU ladies got into a big fight, they kept slapping and slipping on the ice! Then after it was done one of the fat girls b/f said it started b/c he was black, then he got knocked out by the other b/f sooo damn entertaining. The wife and I were just sitting there cracking up. Then we went to my brothers and I drank myself to sleep lol.

Well I've got 3 weeks from today to fill 2 tags, buck and doe or doe and doe... I always feel like I'm running out of time for everything in December. With all of this snow on the ground the deer in my area have gone 100% nocturnal, with the street light you have nearly 100% visibility even at 10 at night. Hopefully they will start moving in the daytime soon!

You mean 5 weeks, right? Or does Grove's urban program only run till the end of December?

Tags expire Dec 31st, but the permit is good for the end of the season. I think the tags you buy should expire at the end of season as well, not just the end of the calender year.

Hhhhmmmmm I certainly never noticed that before. That's aggravating... Well, there is another positive aspect of having a lifetime license.

Finally got a buck during rifle because he had a bum leg. Meat for the freezer! Found out we get to do some doe hunting after the 1st of the year so maybe I can get my first deer w/ my compound.

I keep trying to save my pennies but everytime I get some saved the wife thinks that it is $$$ for a vacation, new couch, new bed, new sheets ($380 for sheets, REALLY?), and the biggest WTF moment of my December, turns out i've been paying the in laws house payment for 2 months... I'm hoping they will pay us back but if history repeats itself it's more of a donation...

Lifetime License are amazing, we bought my 3 year old's this past May. Something every hunter should have. OK does not treat residents very well on tags an such.
