Sat out last night. 7 does and not a single buck came by!! Time to get aggressive with my stand placement. Moving in behind the swamp. For at least one morning. That'll be next Saturday though. :/
I'm headin to ohio in the am. Plan on stayin till sunday unless I get lucky. Ill get my buck scored when I get back. Just been really busy either workin or huntin.

No luck in ohio this wknd but I got my buck posted. Leavin for Cali tom for turkey day and then ill be back to muzzy hunt MD on Sat. Headin up to PA for the rifle opener for a few days and back to Ohio for shotgun the following wknd. Ill try to sneak out a few days here and there before work to try and smack a slickhead. First day of rifle for this guy! After today I'll be back out with my bow I atleast need to lay the thwack down on a doe to put some points up
Hey guys...think I'm a bit overdue to check this thread...sat out the last day of bow season before the gun deer opener...don't worry, bow season opened back up again...but anyway had 6 flippin deer come out. Just wish they woild have been a bit closer than 167 yards! Was still cool to watch though. Found out the "disabled" neighbor down the road shot one of my hit lister hopefuls...nice 10 pt. Wasnt real heavy but definitely was outside the ears. Also explains why his scrape hadn't been hit. Finally got another nice 10 pt coming in to the scrape now though! Just jave to get him in during shooting hours now! Rifpe season here ended this past Sunday. Now smoke pole season is open, then a 3 day antlerless only gun hunt, then after scaring the crap out of all the deer for a few weeks, it goes back to bow only again...sigh... set up the winter blind so I don't have to totally freeze my arse off.
Oh yeah...did I mention the deer I got with the bow?! Little nubbin but 50 points on the board! Woot woot!
