I like your tape measures! I got 114 even. Will remeasure before posting. Gotta purchase a cord to get the pics off of my buddy's camera before entering.

    Congrats Wisco!

Well gents hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow! I'll be headed to the woods early to get in the stand before first light. Hopefully I'll have an encounter in the morning, the tracks I found in the creek near one stand were fresh and I found them around 10:30 am and solunar data shows up until 7:15 in the morning will be a major time so hopefully that's true!

Are you kidding me....about 30 minutes ago I'm standing and watching the trail to the creek and one blows behind me and runs off. I never even see if it was a doe or buck and never heard it walk up. Then literally 2 minutes later hear a gunshot over at the neighbors house. Ugh I'm either the worst hunter ever or have the worst luck. I'm going home for the day

Okay now I feel better because the gunshot turned out to be the guy who owns a large property across the road who shot a coyote

First off, Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Wisco, nice job on knocking some Deer down. I'm really starting to feel like an anchor on this team. LOL. I will be back in the stand on Monday, I have to work all weekend. The second shotgun season ends Sunday here, but the Muzzleloader season starts this Saturday, and that goes until Dec. 15th, so I still have to wear the orange for a couple weeks yet. Good Luck to everyone hunting this weekend, stay safe.

Well sorry I didn't get this up sooner but I found my doe dragged her into a stubble corn field then walked to get the four wheller came back and the doe was gone! Tire tracks pull into the field and foot prints get out put it in the back of truck and away they went. Thank got I did not put my tag on her yet!

Wow Wisco, I have heard stories of stuff like that, pathetic.

The does always group up in big numbers behind my house following the rut and they are on time as always, just lost count at about 12. Perfect weather tomorrow, with any luck I can catch a buck in the afternoon, good luck to everyone, happy thanksgiving and safe travels if you are on the road.

That blows! Be careful. A friend ofmine got a big fine in WI for moving a deer that he killed prior to tagging it. I wanna say it was like $200!

Entered my buck into the contest. Good news. My neighbor did not believe that it was a 114" so he measured it and got 120". We compared our scores and I missed 6" of measurements. Ooooops. I will have to remeasure all of the racks around my place 'cause I am confident I measured the same way every time!

Well guys, great season for me... My wife is now 37 weeks - and my opportunity to hunt has basically closed. Hopefully I can at least manage 1 or 2 more hunts the next few weeks.

I had a blast this season - but it was one of the hardest (slowest) hunting season's in a long time. Glad our team had some success and who knows... the next few weeks could turn up.

Happy holidays everyone, hope all is well with you and your families!

    #BowhuntOrDie!!!

Luckily my rut starts going the last week of January so I still have time before the contest ends! Turns out the one from Thanksgiving morning is the approx. 4 year old 7 pointer, neighbor saw him haul *** across the street! I'm getting close!

Family takes priority Neal, especially when mama bear has a bun in the oven!

    Congrats Neal!

Didn't have to much time to hunt last week with thanksgiving and all. Our season ends on the 31st of December so I still have time to put a buck down. My first deer is going quick and I think I'll be looking to put another doe down as well. Hope everyone had a safe thanksgiving, good luck to everyone still at it.
