The snow is coming... and I'll be at work. Sheesh!!! lol.. This is it for my vacation days guys. I'll be busted down to weekends only from here out. I actually did see a NICE 12 pointer cruising around 10am today... right into my set! But at 19 yards, he locked up, right behind some brush. He wouldn't take those last 2 steps. He eventually swung away from me, but I called him back with a few light grunts... only to have him hang up in some more brush on the other side of my tree, 15 yards this time. Then he meandered on his way, the opposite direction.... curse my luck! But hey, it was the first big buck close encounter I've had this season... and a step in the right direction. Good luck out there Ferg, Darin and whoever else is lucky enough to take advantage of this cold front!!
