Chris, I'm out there all day, every day brother! lol... Day 5 (of 10) of vacation is in the books, but man it's way slow. I'll be hunting a new area (in a different county) tomorrow. It really seems like the "October lull" came in November this year. I've had a forky and a 7 point with lots of potential in range on multiple occasions.. and I've passed on a few does, hoping they'll drag some antlers my direction when they get hot. It's definitely not a typical November in Ohio, but we're expecting a cold-front tomorrow night. I'm hoping that helps! What's happening in PA?
I'm all taged out. Tryn to get my kids there deer now. 10/29/13 filled my doe tag, and 11/1/13 I filled my buck tag. My son shot hit buck on 10/16/13. His first with a bow. A nice 6 pt. Now we r tryn to kill a doe. No luck so far.
Was hoping to get out tomorrow but doesn't look like I will get out till this weekend now. Good luck to everyone hunting!
The weather around here is gettin under my skin! ;( Had a great long sit yesterday morning. All chasin. Seen 9 different bucks, only 1 of them was a hit lister. Had a 4 pt in range and somehow the little fart busted me.. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The action is getting a little better here. Went out last weekend and saw a lot of little bucks chasing. Went out this morning and had a 160" 10 pointer at 5 yards, but he was in the thick brush and he made a right turn where I needed him to make a left turn. I grunted and snort wheezed to no avail. He has been a regular in that area, so I will try it again when the wind is right. Good luck guys.
