As you know I work 3rd shift so my team is in bed and I'm not going to sit and talk to myself like some nuts. :-) On a side note you have to be tired as hell. Also I ran into a craigslist scammer last night too when I checked with him on a truck this morning.
I am exhausted but plan to be back in stand tomorrow morning so i won't get much sleep tonight either. Gotta be careful with those craigslist ads like I said!

Alright, I am not going to make it out tomorrow now. I had knee surgery in June and it is starting to bother me again so I am heading back to therapy tomorrow now instead. Dr. wants me to go for a month then re-evaluate so hopefully it helps so I don't have to go with shots or surgery again. I will be out Friday though!
Just noticed that another team lost points now because of not enough pictures. So glad we won't be one of those teams that it happens to!
Hey guys sorry I haven't checked in for a while. Been busy with divorce stuff and other things, glad to see we have had some deer on the board. I had a clean miss over the back of one of my target bucks last weekend. Ill be out tomorrow morning on a good scrape line I found the other week, had some of the biggest scrapes I've ever seen in it.

Good luck with Knee capt! Well ill be at it this week end, tried an evening hunt today after speeding home from work. It ended when I was 20 yards from my tree I locked my labs in pole barn when I got home, told son not to let them out for 15 min after I leave. 20 min later as im walking in 1.5 miles from home my black female comes flying in the woods hot on my trail GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I was pissed, had to go back home but made her run back, no free pass on that one. She is getting bad about trying to follow us. Will be in her pen when im out from now on. Will update after tomorrws hunts! Good luck guys!
Well week end update. Saturday morn I went in deep to one of my Doe spots, It was pouring when I left home and the whole hunt. I had my rain gear on, a tree umbrella and a cover on the camera. I seen nothing, it was one of those wet chilled to the bone mornings. The leaves are so thick I cant see squat, we need the first frost! I moved a stand at noon for the evening and it looks hot. Im hunting an outside corner of a three sided thicket surrounded by open hardwoods. It has a creek that runs through it and about 200 yards away there is an unpicked bean and corn field. The corn needs to go bad! I seen two Does zig zagging and running like they were being chased. I had a Doe come directly under me about 9:00 this morn but was quartering to me the whole time then got on the side I couldn't shoot on. I have started a mock scrape and dripper with cam on it, there are some new rubs all around. getting ready to get back out now!
Well I got out to my lease late yesterday and ran into a few of the others that hunt it with me. After some conversations they told me the location of a stand I should hunt. Just as I got to the top and was getting my camera arm all setup it started raining and got really windy. Decided to get down and hunt from the ground. Rain continued for awhile so I didn't stay to late. Was planning on getting out today but my truck took a dump so I am now without wheels. Time to go shopping.
Well the kids birthday parties went great this weekend and duck hunting was uneventful first opening day were I didn't get a shot atleast one duck got a two man limit of geese atleast Have an itch to get back in a stand will be hunting 15 of the next 22 days Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I hunted yesterday and today seen 2 doe each day, but found a fresh scrape on the way in today, the leaves are almost all down here its going to be getting good here soon, first snows of the year on the way also for early this week, cant wait to hunt in it next week. Good luck guys.
