Here's my setup...hunting over a 1/4 acre plot of oats and radishes. I call it the Interstate Plot. I-55 is just beyond those trees u see in the pic, maybe 70 yards. Gotta be on your game here. Deer sneak up on u because of the noise from the interstate. Gotta go. Two coyotes just came through. If I would have been paying attention I might have killed one!

Chose to sleep in today and will be back at it tomorrow morning! I did not see anything past two hunts so decided to sleep in to catch up on sleep. Now I am recharged and ready to go back at it.

No luck this morning. Had deer around me just not in the right areas. I'll be youth hunting this evening. Good luck to y'all!

Looks like we’ll be heading north instead of south this weekend. Forecast says the low for Saturday will be 30ᵒ Might even snow!!!

First sit at my big buck property. I am pumped! About 60 yards over my right shoulder is winter wheat. I know where I will be sitting in December if I am not tagged out. This area has always been good at holding deer late into the season but now that I have a food source like that near my favorite stand I think I could have some awesome late season potential if I don't get it done before then.

I hope this wind eases up a bit. This pine tree is really rocking.

Nothing this evening. That will be my last sit for almost two weeks. After that I will be out every weekday and weekend that I can.

I agree, I have to get my waterfowl fix in!

I have a few cameras that I have not check for a month on my property in Wisconsin so I am anxious to see what I might find on those when I get back.

Ill be doing a little mid season scouting/maintenance for my brothers today. Gonna put the last of my apples out at the feeders. Im also gonna move all my cameras to rub/scrape lines so we can start getting an idea of the bucks and rutting action in the area.

Once I get time I want to get out and put out a couple cameras to see what is walking around in the woods by me. If I could find some scrapes that would be ideal.

Caleb how did setting up cams go today? Find any good rubs or scrapes?

That sucks. What was the call? Kind of funny you mention that though, I just watched this video I though it was pretty funny. This guy has some other videos you might find funny if you havent seen them.
