Ohio Hunters

Hey guys I'm a PA resident hunter and I'm looking to expand my hunting horizons and start hunting ohio. Can anyone get me the link to a site that lists the game lands on it? Or tell me where I can find it. I dont know anyone in the state who own farms that I could hunt so im looking for public land hunting for the first few years.

You can also do some research on Ohio AEP lands as many acres are open to hunting.

 

You might want to offer to trade hunts. Some guys will let you hunt with them on their farm as long as you do the same.

 

I agree with Chuck on the AEP part. I grew up hunting the AEP lands scattered throughout Southeastern Ohio and until recently 95% of my couple dozen deer kills have come off those properties. I definitely wouldn't recommend it during the gun season though; everybody becomes a hunter for that one week of the year.

 

I have alot of good memories of the AEP land hunting...thats for sure. There are some GIANTS down there.
