I never go anywhere without mine. I had that one with the slide button. Hate that they changed it to the circle now because they always get accidently turned on and wastes all the fuel.

Love mine. Never hit the woods early season without it. A must for me to have because mosquitoes and bugs absolutely seek me out. I could be chillin at a nudist colony, while fully clothed, with 30 naked people around me and I'd still be the one getting bit. Haha. Thermacell is the best thing EVER for early season.

I wish our only problem was skeeters. I went to check out a spot today, walked a mowed field just looking for trails coming into the field, never got in anything much over my ankles. Didn't wear clothes sprayed with permethrin and got turkey mites by the hundreds. I HATE those things. I'll take skeeters any day.

I agree. The one I have had for over 4 years finally gave out and I had to buy the new one. I remember you mentioning that to me at the GTG. I looked all over for one of the older ones. None to be found. :(

I have two, one for me and one for Cole (14 y/o son) I just wish I could figure out what refills I hear guys talking about getting from WalMart to refill them. I have found the Butane refills (for lighters) but can't seem to use them to refill the Therma cell cartridges.

Why would you leave your Thermacell in your pack till after it freezes? Usually the mosquitos are gone by the first freeze.

I just got the new style because someone that will remain nameless lost it at the farm two weeks ago so she got me a new one to replace it. Glad to have another one but miss the old style.

I think he means he keeps it in the pack to use until the freeze. Then he takes it out.

I got 2 thermacells and always carry both. One of em has the slide button and the other has the circle button, I always take em both only because sometimes one just ain't enough lol.

Last year I got bit by a mosquito on the last day of November and the first day of December.

Hopefully they're gone long before that time this year.

How and why in the world would you remember a specific mosquito bite?
