Guys what's your plans for this weekend. Good Luck to everyone who gets out to play alittle string music. I am finishing up all projects around the house and then gonna go out and practice alittle bit and spend some time with friends.

No kidding Tim. This waiting is driving me nuts. Alright I decided to head to my new lease Saturday then head to the other farm to finish hanging that set and get my Covert so I can send it back.
This weekend im going out to hang another set on a different property that i havent hunted yet. theres a few oak tree's on it and apples tree's also ive scouted it the last couple years but never put a stand up. going to put my game cam in there this weekend on a main trail that leads to the oaks and see whats traveling thru. it should be a good spot not much human pressure and theres good thick bedding area not farm from the food sources.
Sounds like a great spot Finner! I am getting up early to hit the road for a 2.5 hour drive to JoDavies Co. Anxious to check out the new lease. I haven't been to it yet but all the other guys in on it with me have been so I have a great idea what to expect! Then I will be hitting my other farm Sunday. And hoping to get in some shooting this weekend too!

Just got done putting up two ladder stands and cams on the new lease and I'm dog tired lol. Looks like it might rain pretty hard tomorrow morning if it holds off ill be out in the stand.
Got my scent blocker ordered finally, it will be here Tuesday, just got to wash everything and hang opener stand, all other stands were moved last shed season and are ready to go. some I wont touch till the time is right! Got the tree picked and trail tacks out so I can find it. Its on edge of a track riddled corn field edge, and bottleneck where the strip mine ground goes from very hilly to flat woods!
I'm off for a nice breakfast then headed to the archery shop to get final check of bows for Kristine and I. Then hopefully get in some shooting in the backyard this afternoon before the Bears game!
I have a similar day planned as well Ferg, going to do a little shooting before the Lions game, then go hang a stand after that. Oct 1st will be here soon, man i cant wait leaves are turning colors a little here and temps have been chilly here there talking frost tonight.
2 weekends in the woods and no deer in the freezer, my trigger finger is getting itchy. And I have to work tonight....thought about calling in lol but I can't do that.
