Chago awesome job on that bear!

Shooting a bow is addictive to me! I'm always saying to myself three more shots and that's it! Lol

Yeah me too, my beans are still filling out and a few of the double crops are still setting pods *gulp*. We have several chances coming up next week. The cool front was awesome though!

    Guess what....
I saw a nice buck this afternoon! Didn't get him on camera but saw him in person. He's a really really wide ten point ( I think) he was in the middle of a milo field with about a dozen other deer. He's a good'un, deffinitely a shooter around 150" from what I could tell! I'm guessing hes every bit of 25" wide, maybe the widest one I've seen around here.

I didn't get a great look at him, he was maybe 200 yards aff and ran, going through milo that is easily 4.5' tall.

Hey guys, sorry I've been quiet here lately. My cousin got married this last weekend so I had a ton to do for that. Also, it's waterfowl season. Geese ended today and teals end next sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to go out with a friend on soe teals but we'll see. I don't have enough experience with them to go by myself.

Not much to report on the deer front. My brother and I went and looked at a new property tonight. Unfortunately there looks to be 2 people in there already. We know one only gun hunts so he'll get sloppy seconds. The other sucks because we were hoping to get permission on it, it's 40 acres. The property we just got is only 8, but 8 more is better than 0 more.

Hey fellas, been busy lately but the time is now here! I will be in the stand for the next three days here in Kansas. Hoping to make it happen tomorrow evening! I will try to post updates from the stand if I've got enough service. Here's to a sleepless night!

I'm not going to be in the stand at all until probably october. I'm too busy to process a deer if I shoot one right now and it's too warm to keep very long.

Uuugghhh your killing me. Thank god ducks and geese open up this weekend. Give me a fix for a few more weeks u til deer open.

It's not fair ducks and geese breed north of me. Then travel down south to you guys. I have to watch monster monster flocks pass by only for you guys to shoot lol our season opens near the tail end of the migration. Damn migratory bird organization. Who cares if the Mexicans don't see any ducks lol

Haha, yeah I've had ducks and geese keeping me busy the past couple weeks. Haven't had any luck though but I'm still very much a rookie.

I had a rough go of it last night. I haven't shot in a few weeks due to the heat and family obligations, and it really showed. I had a bit of target panic and that lead to some flinching. I did ruin any arrows but I sure scratched up 2 pretty maxima reds. No worries, the forecast here is beautiful shooting weather for the next 2 weeks! Tonight I may break out the new 3D buck I got for Christmas last year.

Yeah weather here is forecast to be absolutely gorgeous through the 10 day forecast. Supposed to hit low 90's again wednesday but then cool back off highs in the low 80's and lows and the upper 50's. I need to get some more rain, got enough here at the house this morning but two miles south on my late beans it barely sprinkled....

Ha! My weather is just like your, except..... -10 degrees.
We do need more rain though. I got all excited Sunday night when it started raining. It ended about 2 minutes later.
