When does everyones season start? In KY we open the season on September 7th. I made sure to leave the whole weekend open, wouldnt mind arrowing one in full velvet if they hang on that long.

Well I am back from up north and some good news. The deer are hitting my food plots pretty hard. They are now hitting the brassicas for the first time and are still hitting the clover. I have pictures of bucks now but all small ones. In fact I have a picture of 4 young bucks in the same picture. But it is great to have some good activity and they seem to like what I planted. I presume the deer activity will only get better as the bucks gett hard antlers and pressure is put on them near the big fields. Overall I am feeling good about where I stand for this season even though I dont have any shooters on camera yet.

Sorry guys for checking in so late. I've been really busy here lately trying to get as much done before the season starts up.

I'm Eric, 27 years old and live in Northwest Indiana. This will be my 5th season bowhunting. I've learned alot from this website and it looks like we got a good group of guys on the team this year.

This year I'm looking to one up my buck from last year, he scored 118" and some change. I've got pictures and have found sheds to at least 5 bucks that will go bigger than that.

I hope we all have great seasons and make some great memories!

Just lost my second hunting property, the land owner is in a fight with a neighbor over hunting on his land and he doesn't want anybody to hunt there now

Hate to hear that. Get out there and start knocking on doors and get you another place to hunt.

Man that sucks! I know that feeling. Had it happen to me 3 years ago. Do you own any property?
