    Michigan Pull #2

Few pictures of some Michigan deer, one shooter that looks like he has a possible split brow and maybe a front left injured leg?

    **********UPDATE**********

Second pull, got the 9 point on camera again. He is really nice for my area and #1 on my hit list. Guess on score? Three different cameras now I have him posing, all in day light. Hopefully he doesn't go nocturnal anytime soon! The other bucks seem too young, and I really want to shoot a 2.5yr old or older.

Nice! Michigan has some big buck potential, only if we didn't have as many hunters we would have great deer all over the place!

I agree with you, shot a 128 inch gross 10pt as a 2.5yr old a few years ago. We just have so many hunters they never get old enough to mature. I really would like to see a antler restriction put into effect. The number of mature bucks I see yearly continues to become less and less.

Looking good!! Not a big fan of antler restrictions but if they won't do away with the 2nd. buck tag they might as well do something.

they definitely need to do earn-a-buck; at least on the 2nd buck tag. It has done wonders in Indiana. Since restrictions were implemented in 2002, Indiana mature buck numbers have skyrocketed and Indiana is now one of the best B/C states in the country.
I have to say (and I admit I do sometimes hunt with one) that I think Michigan opening archery up to crossbows has also impacted the buck levels. More people in the woods for more of the season, and more successful hunters overall.

I completely agree with you, earn a buck would be nice also. They just need to do something!! I liked the old crossbow laws in Michigan, not a fan of the new ones. Good luck hunting this season!
