Yup, I'm a butcher for the past 41 years. I've been shooting bows for over 50+ year and still love it like the first day. I almost exclusively urban bowhunt in upscale subdivisions. On rare occasions I'll hit the WMA's. I am NOT a trophy hunter I WILL shoot any legal deer in range. If you've seen or followed my Kill Permit threads you'll understand why. checking in.... My name is Donnie and I'm also from Virginia. I hunt in Franklin and Rockbridge counties. I've been averaging a couple bucks a year near the 100" range. I hunted 266 hours last year but won't be able to hunt that much this year...new responsibilities and such. I've got some decent bucks on cam but they are always bigger ones running around. I vote for Team "Deerly Departed." Every year there seems to be a team "Dirty Dozen" Doesn't really matter to me though. I probably won't be very active in this thread until season starts which is October 5th...just sayin'

Hello ZXTMike. My name is Anthony as you can tell by my screen name lol. I'm 25 and Married expecting me and my wifes first baby girl sept. 10!!! Season Starts here on sept.16 so im getting pretty excited. i work a week on and a week off so im hoping ill be able to log alot of hunting hours and get a good buck. ive never killed a big buck yet but i've only been bow hunting for about 5 years. I'll Be doing all my hunting from central kansas. Should be a good year for me too from the pictures i've been getting.
