I just finished negotiating a deal for 40 acres of timber not too far from here. Will be putting up trail cameras this weekend and some stands in August. I am psyched!
We have to live within 30 minutes of the nearest VA facility to get the health insurance with no copays and deductibles, so we're moving about 60 miles NW of here. Right now my plan is to eventually build a raised cabin on the 40 acres for a place to lay my head while hunting, but won't be running water or electricity to it.
