So I am writing a research paper on wildlife management through the use of hunting in particular. I had to find a source that was against my stance and boy did I. Ticked me off a little bit how we were described but to each their own. Figured I would share and hear what yall have to say.

I always make sure to carry ATLEAST 14 arrows and so should you! Shows their lack of information

 

I had to write a whitetail management paper last fall as well. Like you just mentioned, I could not believe the ignorance that was out there. My best advice is to contact your state wildlife division and request scientific literature through their wildlife biologists. Email them personally. I got so much information I didn't know what to do with, and they may be able to provide literature from both sides of the arguement

 

Do you happen to still have that literature? haha would help a TON

 

I actually laughed the entire time I read that ignorant garbage. I wish I could meet the person that wrote that trash just so I could thank them my sides hurting right now lmao. MY favorite part was where it said it takes us 14 shots to kill 1 animal, who the hell actually believes that crap lol.

 

No not anymore, sorry. It was all based on management in CT. Most of it was studies done within my state

 

When youre writing youre WLM papers, stick to peer reviewed lit. I would recommend probably making 90% of your paper with citations off the journal of wildlife management. Best of luck to ya, I have been in your shoes. I have 2 degrees in natural resources.

 

Wow, that is ridiculous!! It really makes me mad the way try to make the bow hunter sound. And good luck with you paper, I am going to college this fall and I am wanting to get a degree in Wildlife management as well.

 

This makes me laugh and shows exactly how ignorant this writer is about bowhunting. Seriously...I do not know anybody that carries more than 5 arrows into the woods. Just ridiculous!!

Thanks for the laugh. Not saying I'm against the anti Hunters out there, but at least be educated. One of my friends had some one go off on his Facebook page about how hunting is the exact same as premeditated murder. Hope everything went well with the paper

 

they are seriously misinformed. pretty funny how ignorant they are.
