I usually never wear camo in public. Not even a ball cap. I do have the below t-shirt that I wear all of the time. It's getting worn out and I need to order more..... :D
I'll wear a camo hat around town, but don't wear any other camo unless I'm in the woods. I always get a kick at the guys wearing the novelty hunting shirts. Seriously, who buys these things.
Well, if you mean novelty hunting shirts like the one I just posted above, then I guess people like me buy them.
I have this shirt also. If I'm wearing a tee shirt it's either this one or one of the millions of Harley shirts that I have.
That ones not too bad, I'm refering to the one's with the big graphic images on the back, and some phrase like "Beers N' Deers, Gods gift to Man"...those novelty t-shirts.
Hunting does attract alot of rednecks. I'd never wear anything like that, but I don't blame a company for selling them. People buy them. I got this t shirt for my birthday last year. My sister thought since I fish, I would think it was cool. It's never left the hanger in my closet.
You mean something along the lines of a t-shirt one of my club members wears. It says "Drinking beers and killing deers - that's how I roll." I can understand not liking that one. Not only does it send a bad message if read a certain way (doing both at the same time), but it draws attention to the fact that whoever designed the shirt is apparently unaware that more than one deer is still "deer", not "deers".
this coming from someone with the screename "hooker" in a bowhunting forum... I could care less what people think of me........for real. with everything I've experienced in life, the last thing I worry about is being stereotyped, in the end it doesn't matter what people think. I wear cammo cause I like it...I wear the other tshirts cause I like them. (no I don't wear THAT one..lol)
I have a camo hat that I wear alot. Other than that I wear my camo ua hoodie occasionally when it's cold. Sent from my SGH-T959 using Xparent Green Tapatalk 2
I never wear camo other than in the woods. The main reason is that I only buy camo to hunt with, and I try to make that camo last as long as possible and keep it as clean as I can as well.
Wear a Underarmor or Mathews camo hat everyday. I will wear camo hoodies in the winter and camo shorts in the summer. I own some realtree swimming trunks from cabelas. I have several underarmor hunt shirts and mathews t shirts I wear all the time. I guess im just a "redneck" but not afraid to dress up with teh occasional button up.
YES! Most definitely, I wear camo everyday all day if im not in my ABU's, I'm in something realtree. Helps when your job requires the wear of camo though....
I try my hardest to look decent when in public. Granted, my work gets me pretty dirty and I have to wear my grubby clothes in public at times. But even then, I try to avoid wearing camo at all costs. Even when it's clean, it looks dirty and unpresentable. I usually try to look presentable to anyone, because it does matter. I get a kick out of the guys who say they don't care what people think they look like. I have news for you, if you look like a slob, you won't get too far in life.
I wear my Camo hat everyday and days off from work camo shorts or pants depending on weather . I don't go anywhere without it on. I wore camo and Red Wing Loggers on my wedding day.
I cant stand when i see people wearing camo in public. I always think " thanks for letting everybody know you hunt" lol
I seldom hunt in it and certainly don't wear it to town. I laugh at all the guys that come up during hunting season from Dallas all decked out in camo so they can sit in a covered tower stand during rifle season. Not knocking it if it is your thing, but IMO, camo the best "gimmick" marketers ever came up with. It may be necessary if you want to hide from people, but it been proven it has no bearing on game animals. Most of you have drank the Kool-Aid and think I am ignorant on the subject, but don't take my word for it, just experiment a little on your own and you will soon realize what a sucker you have been.
I agree with this 100%. I have killed deer with a bow while wearing blue jeans and a solid color shirt. Movement is what the deer see.
