In your opinion, what are the biggest/most important things as far as gear goes that you must have for beginning bow hunting? Example: bow equipment, clothing, broadheads, scents, etc.
Tree stand, Bow, sights, Arrows, and hunting land. The rest is just fluff, you really don't need a tree stand but it does help.
The right clothing. If you are not comfortable you won't hang in there regardless of how much your Bow cost or how cool you think the stickers on your truck are. PS. To be the "right" clothing they don't have to cost the most either.
^^^^ obviously this as the bare basics, well actually you don't NEED a thermacell but they are definitely a MAJOR plus for early season where I hunt. Everything else after the bow, arrow are just things to increase the odds of harvesting and making your hunts more comfortable and pleasurable.
what everyone else is saying!^^^ although its not a must.... face paint, for me makes me feel invisible in the woods! lol
During the late season the most important gear are warm boots/socks, hat and gloves. Other than the bow, arrows, and release. Once your feet hands and head get cold nothing else matters. Sent from my SGH-T959 using Xparent Green Tapatalk 2
Must have gear, people that love you at home who allow you to get out in the woods and share the same excitement when you get one.
