Last year this time I wasn't really thinking about deer season much. This year is a different story. I'm ready to hang stands and clear lanes already! Maybe it has something to do with finally connecting last season and I'm not shooting as much 3D this year but, man I'm itching to shed some blood!

Anyone else out there getting the fever?

Had it since the end of the season last winter. The only thing that has eased the fever was turkey season. Hopefully it will dry out soon so stands can be hung, lanes cut, bush hog a few trails through some very thick underbrush etc. etc.

Me. I hunted past Jan. 1 here because of a Special Permit, but once they lost their racks, it wasn't the same. Exactly 4 months from today and Bow Season starts. Come On September 7th!!

Have it a little more this year than last. Minerals are almost all out, and I have cams out for spring/summer inventory with two more to go. All stands are still hung, just may need to move one or two.

I have the itch worse than ever. I am hoping getting to the cabin and checking stands, food plots and setting cameras out will ease that itch a little bit. Might go scout out some new areas as well

I've got it pretty bad aswell. Been rather busy over the past month and that has kept my mind off of it somewhat. But things are slowing down some on the home front so I feel more of the urge building. Gonna start doing some saltwater fishing soon to take the edge off. Haha.

Hope it will dry out soon, so I can get in to work on food plots in some of my low ground. High ground stands are up. Shooting my bow more than last year. Can't wait!
