I retired the Hoyt this year and have been shooting my new Chill for the past three weeks. I love it!! I put the new string stop bracket and a 7 inch 4 bar stabilizer from KTECH Designs on mine and it is even more silent and dead in the hand than ever.....if that's possible. :) Its a really nice matching combination!!

string slapped my arm after it derailed. Tore my arm up a bit, nothing serious though. The bow is at the shop waiting on parts, i dont even want to see the bill!!!

Man I hope you learned a lesson. I refuse to draw my bows without and arrow in them and a target in front of me.

Im guessing dry firing a gun is bad since all the energy builds up in the cam and without an arrow the energy has nowhere to go?

My stomach is flipping just thinking about it and it wasn't even my bow!! What EXACTLY is it about dry firing a bow that's so destructive? I've seen several pics over the past few days but I don't get WHY they explode the way they do.

Sorry for your mishap man, hopefully the shop has mercy on your pocket.

Sucks to hear man. Be honest with the dealer and Mathews.

However, I have to call bs on the release malfunctioning

very cool looking bow. but i do have a question. I've heard that one of the color spectrum that deer can see is blue? not positive about that, but I wonder if they'd be able to pick you out easier? just a question for thought.

Im 18-25ft up in all my sets, so Im not really worried about that. There isn't really enough blue on it for me to be concerned. If I get picked off it will be because of movement, not my bow.
