What new gear ya bringing to G2G camp?

We might be able to do a fish fry. We have the Pro Staff meeting Friday night so not sure what time yet and not sure what IDW is thinking for sammichs this year. Will figure it out though.

Does one of you thats attending have a Garmin Rhino? I have one and have never been able to use the link feature or even seen how it works. I would like to try it before possibly purchasing another. If someone has one can you bring it with?

Or we could do the fish fry Thursday night, forgot he cook the sammichs on friday and not saturday. Ill be there thursday for sure.

 

We will figure it out as we get closer. Right now I just need a head count of those camping. As we get closer I will need eta's from everyone.

Question...If i do plan on coming in thurs. night or friday morning it's going to be almost a 5hr trip from here in Indiana. Do you guys have any recommendations for the best way around Chicago ??? My directions are telling me to take a bypass that goes along Lake Michigan but it still seems busy...I don't do well in big cities or traffic jams.

 

Where in Northeast Indiana are you located at?

When you are on 80/94 crossing into IL instead of heading north on 94 like Mapquest shows keep going west to either 294 or keep going to 355 north. Both routes will avoid downtown for you.

Anyone have a Can Cooker that they are thinking of bringing to camp? I have never gotten to try one or see how it workes and I keep looking at it everytime I go to Bass Pro. I have a fire grate and we might have a propane deep fryer at camp so if someone has one I would love to see it in action and try the food!

If mine meets the reserve on e-bay in the next couple days and its looking like it will, Ill be ordering the Creed right away, will take about 3 weeks to get. have to get it by Turkey season!

That's cool. If you don't have room I wouldn't worry about it. I am sure that we will have several targets at the campground.
