Well I went out after class to try and tune my bow for my broad heads. I was making good Progress until it started to rain! I was getting close my broadhead was hitting about 6 or 8 inch low of my field point. They are on the same vertical line. Where do I go from here? It sucks because I felt like I was making progress for doing this my first time and then the rain hits. It also messed up my plans to search for sheds too.

Even with the hole is the standard position and where the bow is designed to perform best. You can also go slightly below to get as close to true center as possible. Above is not a good position. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Okay thanks ill check that out tomorrow. If not ill probably have to move my nock point a little bit.
Well I think this is as close as I'll get my broadhead and field points flying. They both hit just a but right of the target center . My fp hit the broadhead Arrow right in the back. so now I just need to move my sight and I'll be good to go.
Its better to shoot a few shots withs a field point, mark the spots, then shoot a few shots with broadheads, that way you dont mess up your arrows.
Haha yeah I thought about that after the fact. It's the first time tuning my bow for broadheads myself so I was happy I was getting closer then this
It sure does feel good. I went out for round 2 today and i took a little while but i started getting the hang of getting everything line up and shooting where i want. even though it cost me an arrow but, thats okay since this is the first time ive worked at something on my bow like this and it paid off.
Quick question. Now that i have my broadheads and FPs flying the same at 20 yards, Will i be okay out to 60 yards and not have to worry about moving my rest again?
Not necessarily. It may take a slight bit more adjustment for longer ranges. You should still be good at 20. It just depends on how close the 20 really is. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Okay. I wont be shooting passed probably 30 yards on a deer so i think i should be fine. But after adjusting everthing my twenty is right on for both broadheads and FP. Hence the picture above. I still need to shoot my FP out to 60 yards though to finish sighting my single pin sight in.
