    Well I didn't get a shot but I had 2 does headed right to me until something spooked them. The lead one got to 58 yards then they turned and took off because something spooked them. I know they didn't wind me because they were straight upwind of me. Unless it swirled which it will do pretty often where I hunt. But at least I saw some action it gives me more optimism for tomorrow.

    In stand and have 40mins til shooting light. Got a 1/4" dusting of snow overnight so pretty excited about today. Good luck anyone hunting today.

    Went out this afternoon, seen five deer with no shot. Can't be real sure but one of them might have been a buck that has already shed. Not sure tho coulda jus been jus big mature doe, happened kinda quick since tried new strategy and was on ground. Either way good night and looking forward to rest of week.

    Snow on the ground, cold northwest wind. Love it, I'm ready to knock down my first deer ever with a gun. Got a buck and doe tag. Sitting over a cut corn field that is not plowed under. Lets go!

    Oh yeah, got my bow with me too. Bow is for the buck, gun is for the doe. Last night there were 8 does in this field.

    Just got up into stand. Got 10" of snow last night here in RI. Gusty winds. This should be interesting.
