Thats a dandy, but dont worry about improving your score, that is not possible. The first buck of your season is the only one that counts.

Ok, clearly, I submitted my first buck...but this is my first year in the contest so I am curious... Why is there a rule that you cannot have the best buck of your season take the place of a previous buck? It seems like you should be able to put your best score up for your team...

I'm pretty sure PT was just kidding.
I believe that was set to make it fair because some guys only get to take 1 buck in their home state and don't get to go anywhere else

I would have to agree. It has been fun and a good exp. I will be back next year same team or not. Hope you guys are enjoying the end of the season. My freezer is full and I have one buck archery tag left to fill but it is going to have to be a magnum deer. That or I will take one more to donate to the churchand a family in need.

Nice I saw them all bow season. More then I have ever seen before and only had one chance to shoot one and he busted me. Then I started taking my gun out to shot them and could not see a single one. Oh well.

Today is my wife and I 7th wedding anniversary and we have no babysitter and daycare will not take the kids because they are sick so we are going to order pizza and watch a movie at home. Not the way I wanted to spend are anniversary but thats the way things go sometimes oh well .

They are tough...I have gotten 3 with my bow but lucked out on this one. I saw him crossing a field and called to him and he sprinted directly underneath my tree...like 1 yard...and as he started to leave I was able to draw and shoot him at 10 yards. Oh...and I was only 8 ft up the tree! I was hunting out of my web and was in a tiny tree with tons of cover. It was a cool experience.

Passed a 2 yr old mainframe 12 tonight (going to be a GIANT) that we have seen about 15 times this year and had a 160 at 75 yards but wouldn't come any closer. Tomorrow morning looks good! Will be hunting on the edge of a bedding area...

Thanks Michael! It is fun...no aspirations to be "in the industry" but I have really gotten into filming. Adds a whole other dimension to hunting. It really is nothin more than an elaborate way for me to journal about my time in the woods.

Well we got about 2 inches of snow and there will be high winds all day and night today so I am going to spend some time in the stand friday morning hoping they will be moving. Going to be trying to get as many as I can in one sit for donation to local churches so hopefully I can but atleast one down. Last year I was able to shoot 4 in one day when I did that. It will be a good time anyways I enjoy hunting in the snow.
