As soon as hunting season ends we'll all have a little extra time for other things. I'll be working on my house. Going to gut 2 rooms, 1 bedroom and a laundry room. So that'll keep me busy after work for a couple weeks. Hopefully as I finish that the smaller ponds will start freezing and I can get out there and do some ice fishing! What are your plans?

This winter marks my first chance to truly get out and hunt this fall. I'll be going almost daily for the next 2-3 weeks after waterfowl, predators, and trying to kill a doe with my bow.

College Basketball season is here and my favorite sport as well.

I will be gutting and re doing our main hall bathroom shortly. Then I'll pick at doing some 8yd 5 spot vegas games in the basement this winter, tinker with my new bow press, run trail cameras, possibly start working on more electrical in the barn, etc. Plenty to keep busy with.

Tear bow down and rebuild. Start scouting for next season. Get prepared to log more hours and miles than last year. It never ends.

Spending time with my wife, once we find out what the baby is I'll start the room in about a month, and whatever time is left I'll do a little predator hunting, reloading, and some ice fishing too.

Mid february will bring tipi fest.....we host the East Coast Rendezvous for Kifaru at our camp in the Adirondacks and it's three days of good friends, good food, and playing with outdoors gear and guns in as remote of a place as you can get in this part of the country. Last year we literally went through about 25,000 rounds of ammo and about 50 lbs of tannerite. People come from all over the country and we should end up with about 50 guests. Lots of fun, one of the most fun things I do all year and I can't wait.

I am going to enjoy not having a marathon to train for this winter/spring. I have some home improvement projects to finish. Hope to get some more fishing in than I have in the past few years. Get caught up on my reloading, gun buying and ammo hoarding since everything is going to be banned:poke:

I have until Jan 31st to be out trying to fill deer tags with the bow. Wanting to get into a trade school of some sort. Thinking of starting welding haven't fully decided yet.

Ever Kayak fish with flies on a spinning reel? Alot of fun catching trout that way. Just get the fly out and paddle along or let the wind take you. My favorite way to fish. So much fun.

Yeah, I'll be doing that more this year than last. That's for sure. It really paid off this year, I can only imagine how much better 2k13 hunting season will be!

Gotta love that stuff!! What do you blow up? I just shot 4lbs under a stack of pumpkins. It literally vaporized the pumpkins. There was a 30' radius of moist soil around the crater. lol Way overkill for what we wanted. Still fun though! The legal limit here is 20lbs, very tempting.

We blow up anything and everything with it. If you want to really see something cool, put a predator hunting light on an AR and shoot a 5lber when it's dark. :tu:
