I was just curious how Pro Staff for the Bowhunt or Die Web Show were selected and if they were looking at adding any new members in the near future? Thanks! Danny
Hey Danny - we're not actively looking for new people as our season is starting to wind down, but we do hope to add a few sometime early next year. Keep checking back on the site and we'll post info on how to submit an application probably sometime in February/March. Thanks!
Cool to know Ill keep my eyes open for this as well. Next year might be a busy one for me though because ill be a 2nd Lt. in the Army and ill need to hunt on base or get lucky with some private land outside of base.
Dang straight it will be busy, everyone knows LTs are lost in the sauce and need at least 2 years to figure out what they are doing!
I would like to see a new hunter get on. Not saying myself just someone who has either never taken an animal with a bow or one who has never taken a buck. Using the advice of fellow hunters from BH.com as their mentors. Maybe do a few years with them and follow their journey. I actually think that it would make a great T.V. Show.
I wouldn't mind being on the BH.com pro staff, but the whole filming thing is a bummer for me. I have plenty of crap to haul around, let alone a whole camera bag full of junk. Now if I could wrangle a full time camera man....
Seems to me you kill a buck early enough every year I'll be your full time camera man as long as after you kill your buck you are mine! HAHAHAH! You are getting the shaft... lol!
Don't be a sissy. Most of us haul our camera gear along with everything else all year long and we're old men. You're a strapping young lad. You should be carrying two cameras.
This is actually a great idea. You guys should look into something like this Justin. Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Nobody would wanna watch some dude in facepaint sext his girlfriend from a tree...but thanks for the offer Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
Regional pro staff would be kind of cool too. Other parts of the country are less " sexy" than the Midwest, but it'd be cool to hear stories from parts of the country that are more big woods and less agriculture. I think a lot of members could benefit from this.
I have been wanting to see something like that since the beginning of my hunting. Just to see that guy get his first big buck or first buck period. Take it back to everyone's beginning. Who wouldn't be able to relate? The guy who has killed 20 big boys in his lifetime will never kill one that made him feel the way that first one did. The guy who hasn't is on the same journey as the star of the show. Then the moment it happens he may as well be a hero!! I'm not saying use a dang outfitter either! DYH. Public land or private or maybe a show that has one of each? Private land guy doing some plots and a public land guy doing a ton of scouting and both of them doing I through the guidance of guys like us! Who would want to watch that? Very normal everyday hunter out there!
I think watching public land hunts are great because that is usually the land i hunt and it's always fun to see other people put in work and kill on public land
I would like to be on the show but I don't have enough money for that and there's one huge problem, Mathews.
I sweat like crazy as it is, let alone hauling around a handful of cameras! And nobody wants to watch some kid in a state like Kansas hunting in a camo cut off and shorts during the early season Jason- we need to chase some turkeys this spring sometime
