Okay, question. I had two does run under my stand going about 200mph and they made three loops around the woods, stopped to breathe for a minute or two then walked away calmly. Never seen this before. Anyone have an explanation?

Are you sure one wasn't a button buck? Maybe they were playing, deer chase and run around for fun sometimes.

Too big to be a BB, may have been, it seemed quite intense though. Cool to see either way!

I've seen this before. I think they're just playing around.

Early this season I was sitting, and at the time it was very calm, then from no where I hear a ton of brush start busting. I turn and look and here comes 3 does, all running circles and figure 8s around one another; they ran overlapping circles all the way to me, past me, and continued on out into the field and out of sight all while they did the same. 2 other deer, small bucks, stood on the field edge and watched them the entire time. It was weird. Kinda freaky. It made no sense at all.

I see it in the woods behind my house all the time. I think they are just playing, or maybe practicing running fast to keep in shape?

Yep, I have seen this. Not sure why, but I have seen it. It was like a game I didn't understand the rules to?

 Strange creatures, I was all pumped up the first time they came by, thought a big buck was on their trail.

Red Bull? My dog does that for no reason sometimes, maybe its a survival mechanism and keeps their instincts sharp.

I read where does will stake out areas for breeding, perhaps one was trying to push the other out of her area.
