Been seeing lots of 1.5yo bucks and a few 2.5 and 1 or 2 3.5s.........Not seeing the bigg'ns that we usually do during the rut. Ive been hunting every morning and evening since wednesday or thursday.......Hoping a giant steps out tonight.

Man i can't wait for friday to get here. Starting saturday i got a 9 day vacation coming to me. 75% of it will be spent sitting in a tree stand or ground blind.

I updated the score on my buck in the scorecard thread. Anyone know how to get the teams total score updated? I sent Fitz a PM to let him know but i don't see it updated yet.
I also just got my permission card to hunt in a quarry in northwest Maryland. Going to hunt that a majority of the time next week.

Long time no chat on here, sorry. Been busy with hunting and work. Soccerdan, I drove through Oskaloosa, Iowa the 27th of October. Nice looking country around there. A friend of mine moved to Keosauqua this summer. We drove around for an evening down there. Saw well over 500 deer In 45 minutes of driving around outside of town. Saw at least 50 P&Y bucks. Amazing!!!! I drew an Iowa tag so the next day I headed towards Chariton and hunted In the area for 6 days. I passed on 12 different P&Y bucks. They were all between 130 to 140 Inches. I was after a 150 class buck. I saw one finally with In range the last evening I hunted there. Had him at 12 yards but he got my wind and flew out of there. I saw a couple other 150 bucks and one other that would probably make B&C. Amazing hunting Iowa has. Can't wait to hunt there some year again. Once I got back to Minnesota I hit the woods off and on. I passed on a 130's 3.5 year old. I've watched him since we was a 1.5 year old. He's pretty awesome and I think he could turn Into something special thus why I passed on him. 20 minutes after passing on him a mid 130's 10 point comes with In 16 to 17 or so yards of me. I drew the recurve back on him but let It down as something didn't feel right. I don't wanna wound anything. The next day I sat the same stand and looked at that spot where I let that 10 go. For the life of me I don't know what came over me but something said don't shoot. Damn head games. Anyhow I've saw a couple 2 year old 8 pointers In that 110 Inch range that I've also let pass. Hopefully these bucks live to see another day from the neighbors during our gun seasons. I just checked everyone's bucks out. Outstanding deer everyone!! Congratulation's to each and everyone of you!! Come on Kristine, get that 1st archery deer my friend!!!
