Good luck. They are most definitely on their feet. My little bro narrowly missed tagging a 140" 8 pt. last night and saw a 130 class 8 this morning. I am hoping to maybe add to my dream season a little more on Tuesday or Wednesday when I head to IL.
I hunted and had great expectations. After seeing 10 bucks between my buddy and I on Friday, I moved up the ridge about 60 yards with my new Lone Wolf stand and just knew it was game on. It got light...and I never saw a deer. My buddy saw a 100 inch 8 pt and that was it! I was incredulous! After all the movement we've seen over the last few weeks on that ridge, to see nothing was really a shock. It was a cool morning compared to what it has been lately and never got over 70 degrees. Lots of scrapes in the area but absolutely nothing moving. I'm heading to Kansas Thursday; I hope business picks up! :D
Hunted yesterday morning and saw a young buck This morning I saw two young bucks, a Momma doe and her two kiddos... they did not come close enough... I will be hunting several 1/2 day hunts throughout the week....like usual, I could have killed close to a dozen different bucks ... but the doe during bow season elude me ....
I got a doe tonight. Hunted next to a cattail slough out in south dakota. She gave me a 15 yard shot and then didn't make it 30 yards. Didn't get any pics in the field because my phone died. She's hanging in the shed for a day or two so i'll get a picture of her eventually.
Heading to IL tonight to camp with my brothers. I can't wait. I haven't hunted since Halloween and I'm ready to get back in the stand. Good luck to anybody out in the woods today. Hope to see some pics of bucks from the rest of the team soon.

Finally got chance to log on from Ohio been huntin hard. Amost pulled the trigger on a 9 point this mornin but just couldnt do it pretty sure he was about 135''.Came in perfect passed 4 of my shooting lanes but i just fimed him or at least i thought i was.Never hit the record button or double punched it i don't know what i did, he had me a little excited. Got some footage of him walkin away tho. Anyway huntings been good seeing a bunch deer.Good luck every one and congrats on the doe cv.
Couple young bucks this evening... one was bumping a doe around the field and causing quite the ruckus!
