sorry passion got best of my response approach. IMO the other bad calls while affecting the make up of the game no doubt they do not directly decide who wins or loses...that final play did in fact have that weight is all I'm saying, to compare them would not do either side justice.
Where to begin. The offense is terrible. It starts with the line. Terrible. Rodgers is holding onto the ball too long to make plays. Terrible. The receivers have the dropsies. Terrible. The only postive is Cedric Benson. The defense is amazing. Yes, amazing. Held the HOME TEAM to 260 total yards and 14 points? I will take that EVERY SUNDAY. Now the penalties. The PI? Absurd. The roughing the passer? Even more absurd. Wilson was scrambling outside the pocket and attempted a pass AFTER Walden left his feet. And Walden hit him below the waist. I dont understand. The final play? Simply the worst call in NFL history. That will be all. Back to sulking.
You have a lot of good points Siman...except worst call in NFL history. Worst call this weekend, but probably not even top 10.
I disagree. The outcome of an entire football game was decided on a play involving not only a clear penalty, but a missed call, that was even reviewed.
Vinny Testaverde getting tackled on the one yard line, only his helmet crossed the plain. Worst call in NFL history.
I heard, so dont quote me on this, that some of the replacement refs being used were once reffing for the lingerie football league, and they were so bad there, that they got fired !!! the have refs from class 3 colleges ?
and you have the NFL trying to say it was the right call. Come on Goodell! There was also several other missed calls in earlier games. This is getting out of hand.
I heard there was a high school ref involved also. This whole this is a complete joke, Yeah the Packers played like crap but they did win that game. I'm glad I didn't watch it I wouldn't be able to sleep.
Absolutely pathetic. NFL is a joke right now. Owners and Goddell need to get their crap together. Packers really got stuck.
Funny thing is, just like Steve Young said....wait for it, yep, we will all watch tomorrow. No matter how much pissing and moaning that goes on, the stadiums are full and ratings are solid. Refs are not good right now, and it's the new fad when you're team looses (exception of obvious green bay call) to blame replacements but we are still going to watch.
Im still trying to decide which of the calls/non calls was worse. That was one of the more blatant offensive pass interference I've seen before "the catch". How in the world they decide that was a catch by tate is really mind boggling lol.
