So glad your able to forget about it so soon. That must be comforting. I wonder how long the deer will remember....

Lets move along to something more exciting like new camo! That will help us forget.

This site is beginning to make me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Is it just me feeling like this??

No its kinda sad to see so many lost deer threads. mainly because it seems like they are not trying to find them or looking long enough with the exception of one ive seen so far. now take what i say for whats its worth since i have yet to kill a deer but i feel i would give it everything i got to find that deer.

I'd agree also fletch. It I also believe its because everyone thinks shooting a target and a whitetail is the same thing. Lot more variables in hunting than going to a spot to shoot a couple of arrows. I looked for a doe I shot last year for 5 days until I found her half tore up by coyotes and I am sure she was still alive when it happen. I've changed my aproach this year and that is if I can not shoot 1 inch groups at 20 then I shouldn't take a shot farther than 15yrds. But people see that broad heads will expanded your kill zone so they think they can shoot 40yrds and be okay with a 5 inch group and the BH will fix their bad shot. The they blame the BH when it doesn't harvest the animal. But that's just my 2 pennies take it as you wish

I just wish people would read what there writing on here and than step back and think about it before they hit send. You have to realize that a post about getting new clothes with barely a mention of the animal you wounded is immature at best.

Well the good news is we haven't had any I like to climb up in my tree and slam a six pack while I wait for prime time. An then ask everyone one if they to enjoy a few adult beverages while on stand.

I'm not 100% sure on this but I think we may have more lost deer threads than recovered deer threads so far this season. WTH is going on around here.

Any-who, I took out my neighbors dog with my car this morning and I was wondering if anyone knows a where I could get something to clean the blood out of my cars interior because the whole thing was pretty messy. Thanks in advance....;)

p.s. As far as the OP, 15 is old enough to know better and if he didn't know now he knows.

^^^ EXACTLY! Come on now guys... There are plenty of adults on this site that post only to vent or whine.
Kid, I hope you find that deer. Keep looking and let us know. As long as you're comfortable, I don't think that the deer really care how gnarly your camo looks. Afterall, deer hunting has been around much, much longer than high end camo fashion. Good luck!

Just pulled the shot 4" classic line for someone who needs to be more patient. I'm happy you're on the state Archery team that is something to be proud of but the disrespect you have for the animal you hunt is not.

You need to be worried about the next shot you take on an animal that the same thing doesn't happen and not so worried about the camo. The first deer I shot with a bow I was in a green army jacket.

I understand he is 15 and I do think that's old enough to know better. I don't believe it was overly harsh either compared to some replies. That said, my statement was not meant to single him out. It's was a general statement pertaining to a lot of posts lately.

Yupp she did. My arrow pretty much just barley broke her skin over her shoulder. Scared her more than anything,

How did you shred your camos while tracking if you could see her feeding for the rest of the night from 40 yards away?
