Meet Elliot. This deer is like the farm mascot. We have known him a for at least 3 years, he is at least 4.5 this year. We have tons of pictures of him from over the years (sorry this is the only one I have on this comp) Not and outstanding deer by any means, just a mature deer that we know well. He won't break any records but he has got some neat characteristics! That's all for now, when I got some more pictures of these deer this year as well as some of the other deer, Ill try and put them up.
Well guys here is the plan. Work tomm., off thursday to get oil changed in truck and pack gear in the afternoon. Friday opening day, will be in stand at 05:15 am waiting for some juicy deer to walk by. After last years miserable season of hobbling around on a broke foot, I am looking forward to enjoying this season. Time for the "old man to redeem himself", 37th year bowhunting and I am still as excited as when I was a kid. Goodluck anyone who is hunting and goodluck to those guys still getting ready for thier season. Dave
Good Luck Dave! Hope you get us all started early and break the ice! Nock that arrow up and make on of those furry hooved friends of ours roll!
Hey guys, I'm Justin. Haven't had much of a chance to get on here lately, just started college a couple weeks ago. Planning on looking for some hunting spots near campus, as well as hunting back home (about 3 hrs away). So far at home I've seen a couple decent 8 points and a nice 10, along with 4 or 5 smaller bucks. Haven't really gotten the chance to run cams yet, hope to head home within the next week or two to get one out. I believe our archery season will be kicking off on the 29th, good luck to everyone, I'll be keeping in touch.
sup fellas, sorry for the late arrival. I just inherited my parents house so i've been super busy lately. Name is Dan, i'm 36. I live 20 min. east of pittsburgh, pa. The last couple of months have been crazy (real life stuff), so I wasnt able to get any cameras out. But have no fear, the place I hunt is right out the back door of my hunting buddy's house. He tells me that he has a small herd (10-12 doe/ 6-7 bucks....3 are 130" and up) in his yard everynight. So hopefully with some luck I will contribute to the team.
Very excited! Got back early yesterday and what I saw on my trail cam made me happy. 4 bucks on my 6 acre property. A big 10, a decent 8 and 2 decent 6's. I'm really excited for this season. Moved some blinds around to get the big 10. Oct 1st can't come soon enough.
Check my camera for the first time in a month and it turned out that the sd card was bad. There were tracks all over the ground. Got a new chip and put out some more corn.
Hey guys, I've been busy so I haven't been on here lately, but welcome to the latest team members, and good luck to everyone, once again. I have a few shooters around. No giants, but a few that are tag worthy.
Well boys, tomm. is opening day. I am heading out in a few to finish packing the truck and shoot the bow one more time. I have not decided which stand to sit yet, think I will go with my gut feeling as I pull up to the farm tomm. morning. Goodluck guys.........here we go..................time to NOCK -N- ROLL !!!!!! dAVE
