Here are a few interesting ones:

Didn't plant enough to feed deer and turkeys!

    I wonder if this hurts?

This 7 didn't grow at all from last year to this year. He doesn't have much mass either. He's the smallest of the 4 behind my house i'll be looking to issue a dirt nap to.

Awesome pic of the velvet hanging off..and that last deer is great, but you're right crazy how he just wasn't gifted with much mass. Put him to sleep and we'll be able to see first hand :D

I got a couple pics of some small public bucks this weekend, but nothing to write home about. I don't have a camera in my honey hole though. I have only been out there once, but come the 15th I hope to have a few pics to show you guys. :tu:

Unfortunately, I dont have any pics to share. I hunt a military reservation, and hunters arent allowed on it until 2 weeks before the season which will be oct 1 for us. Our bow season doesnt start till the 15th of october. But I have hunted it for about 10 years now so i got a good idea where to start my scouting at. Im getting antsy though. One more bass tournament and then its balls to the wall bowhunting for me.

Probably quite a few big boys running that ground though for you to nail with a broadhead!

Oh yea. There are plenty of big boys on it. Some of the biggest deer in the state get killed on it everyear. Two years ago, a 17year old boy bought a bow at the end of the summer and then bought a summit climber the day before hunting season. Climbed in his brand new stand opening day and shot a 155inch nontypical with a droptine. First deer he had ever seen while hunting. A 155 is big anywhere, but for alabama, its unheard of. So i know they are there. There is some deer pushing 140 killed on it everyear. My personal biggest on it was 132inch 8pt.

I put the camera out for two days and this is the best deer I got so far. It is not the biggest I have seen this week on that piece of land but It is the first ok buck I caught on my new camera so I thought i would show you guys.

I would probably be disappointed if you passed on him.

I'll second that...but I also understand you're hunting a totally different population of bucks and you may aim higher for a week or two.

By all means though, if you can kill bigger......kill bigger. And if you do kill bigger, and I don't have a buck down yet I will come up and kill him. Heck maybe the whole team should come up and hunt.
