If any of you are interested, shoot me a PM and I'll send you my cell. That way you can annoy Justin by starting an "I got a text" thread

Hopefully with the remnants of Isaac set to move across a lot of the Midwest and Ohio valley it can help flip this hot and dry pattern. Several of the surrounding properties plant food plots which makes the land I hunt a good travel corridor. Going to get a lot of rain but most will be runoff as the ground is way to dry to absorb it all. Really hoping to have a cold winter this go around.

You ever try to hunt him in the morning if the moon is right? I'm not much of a morning guy until Halloween, but what are your thoughts catching him coming back to bed after light if the you have a moon underfoot or overhead along with a cold snap? Just a thought, you have killed more bruisers on public then I so I thought I would ask your opinion.

Ive never hunted this buck yet, but I think hes ready this year. I'm all for it....the biggest buck Ive ever shot, I set up on his bed in the morning. Though I had to watch him until noon before he got up, moved around and gave me a shot. In short, I bit him to bed and got the shot.

If the conditions are right I will try a morning hunt....moon over head or cold snap, scraping hard last week of Oct.

I was looking for a good photo of a 12pt earlier. I wanted to ghost the rack in the background.

Anyone have a good trail cam pic of a 12 pt? I can pull one off the web, but it'd be cooler if it was a buck one of us knew.

If no one does, I could always turn my old photo of The Beast into a 12 pt.

BShunter posted up a pic of a 12 he's targeting but it's not showing up. He said it was boring with as clean as it is, not sure if you can fix the attachment or not. Post 53, just says invalid attachment

i dont have a pic of a 12 yet but im sure one will come later, I HOPE lol. and that avatar and and sig look great.!! what program are you using to make those things. Im just curious. 2 days till season opener here in kentucky, however were projected to get between 3 and 7 inches of rain for opening day. The rain will be awesome for our Frigid Forage Big-n-Beasty plots though.

Definitely don't have a pic of a 12. Man, seems like everyone has a nice deer they are after. Here is mine if I got photo bucket to work right. In the second picture hes the second deer. You can get a better idea of the width and height in that picture.
