After a quick scan of the previous years, here's what I found:

    2011- ILL BUCK 178 4/8"
    2010- Silverflicker 178 3/8"
    2009- BuckRogers 162 0/8"

I have a good feeling these numbers will fall this year!

Teams will be draw towards the end of August, probably around the 25th or so. At that time the Alternates List Sign-up will start to even up team numbers and fill in for contestants that don't check in.

The Offical Scorecard will open on the 1st.

Some time over the next few weeks I'm thinking about entering in all the data from the previous contests into an Excel sheet.

We could get some fun stats out of it :tu:

I have all the 2011 data entered. Took me a good 3+hrs!

Haven't started pulling stats from it yet. Figure I'll build some formulas up before I do the earlier years :tu:

The good news is the earlier years will be shorter since the forums were smaller back then.

This year I can enter it as I log the scores through the season.

Hey Fitz, when you're done, would you email me a copy. Would love to do the trend analysis on past seasons.

Not sure if this was discussed before but any chance that the team captains can report back on the members that didn't participate so they can be denied entry for next year. I know things come up and everybody is busy, but checking in once a month or so shouldn't be too much to ask for.

T, I'm going to only allow "anterless" deer to be counted for the extra 50 points. In MN that means no point over 3", so a Button Buck or small spike would be considered "antlerless".

Here's what I said earlier in the thread....

When I post up the teams, I'll indicate a timeframe (one or two weeks) for captains to be chosen and teamates to check-in. All members failing to check-in within that timeframe will be replaced with alternates.

Good decision unless someone is on vacation (I know they should still be checking BH.com daily!), overseas, out of state work job, etc...

When will the signups close down? I'll be on vacation for a couple weeks starting Tuesday with no cell/internet service. Don't want to miss check in.
