I use corn and sometimes sweet feed for livestock to draw animals in to my trailcam areas. I would like a chance at being part of the contest.
I've used corn to try and just get an idea of whats out there, but never to hunt over. I'm always up for trying something different, count me in!

I wish I could use corn for trail cameras or to hunt over. I unfortunately hunt in a county in WI that does not allow baiting for hunting or photography. Have to remove everything that is not a food plot to hunt or put out the trail camera. Would love to try Raxx but would never be able to post pictures. Makes me sad.
I like the OLD rules in Illinois better before the CWD! We used to be able to bait up to 30 Day before season then again 30 days after season. I like seeing what is coming to the trail cams for the food. Cant do that any more!

Mix each bottle with 100 pounds of corn and put a camera on them to let us know which one the deer in your area like better. This is NOT a mineral, just a liquid attractant.
I always miss these things.... We plant a few acres of corn for the deer ,but don't hunt over it really. I use corn for camera pics, but like others usually get 80 coon pics and 50 deer pics.....Have decent luck with another mineral attractant that I won't list on your thread out of respect for your products..... Works pretty well.. Maybe I'll get a chance to try yours someday. Haven't seen it around my area yet.
i know where i hunt baiting in any form is illegal, and if i saw someone doing it, no doubt theyd be taking an arrow to the ***!
I was looking for people who use corn in front of their trail cameras to see how the products worked in different areas. I DID NOT say anything about doing anything illegal or ask any one what they thought about the use of corn so I dont understand your post!
I would bet he was referring to attractants like urine or a food odor that deer will not eat. Using it as a cover scent is one thing, spraying it on foliage or crops TO BE INGESTED, is Illegal.
I use it, but I really have to kind of switch spots pretty frequently as the corn attracts bears too which 90% of the time end up eating all of the corn and scaring all the deer away. Coons aren't really a problem for me but bears, squirrels and birds in particular with bears being the biggest nuisance as well as coyotes.
You should talk to a CO about this and not just give your opinion as fact. A CO looked at the product and said as long as you spray it on food plots and natural vegetation it is legal in Illinois. This is not the first CO to say this either.
I'm not familiar with this product you're referring to in this thread Tom, but one question, do deer eat it? If not, then you may be right. If they do, it's no good here. I don't give my opinion, I know the laws here. Where's Christine???
I do know a few people who have talked to conservation officers in Illinois and actually shown them the product. They read how to use it and said it was legal to use as long as you did not put it on corn, mineral or any other type of feed. I know you can not bait in Illinois and I wouldnt tell you to. I am just letting you know what the conservation officers have said. The deer do eat what you spray it on, but there is no salt or sugar or food product in it.
You are absolutely incorrect feb. I spoke to the cpo at a safety class i attended with my brother. He looked at the bottle read it and said " as long as you use it on natural food sources or food plots it is fine" However of you rack up acorns into a pile and pour it on it would be against the law.
