I agree it was likely his best acting job, but nothing tops American Gangster for me as a Denzel movie.....He played the part perfectly, and even had me cheering for the heroin dealer vs the cops. lol

    American Gangster
    Remember the Titans
    Man on Fire
    John Q
    Training Day
    Book of Eli
    Deja Vu
    Philadelphia
    The Pelican Brief
    Malcom X
    The Bone Collector
    The Manchurian Candidate

    All great movies worth watching.

John Wayne for me is the larger than life star. Clint Eastwood would probably be the more versatile.
May West is the BE-STILL-MY-BEATING-HEART star.

best? thats highly debatable but a few of my favorites are Daniel Day Lewis ("Gangs of New York", Bill the Butcher) R. Lee Ermey ("Full Metal Jacket"). He was a real Drill Instructor and did the whole thing unscripted. I like DeNiro ("Taxi Driver", "Good Fellas", "Casino"), Clint Eastwood (any of his movies but "Heartbreak Ridge was corny),...............i could go on and on. Currrent Actors: i like DiCaprio hes excellent at playing multiple roles

Mel Gibson would be number one or two for me, Clint comes in close right behind Mel.. A few that come to mind quick would be Jonah Hill, Tommy Lee Jones and definitely not American but he would be tied for first with Mel is Arnold Schwarzenegger!

My favorites (and in my opinion best), Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Walter Matthau, Charles Bronson, Fess Parker....to name a few. All but John Wayne were veterans of World War II.

OK, Tommy Lee Jones and Clint Eastwood too. Used to eat at Eastwoods Restaurant in Carmel by the Sea. That was in the 70's and if I remember correctly his restaurant was called The Hogs Breath Inn. Mr Eastwood used to tend bar on ocassion and it was a thrill for a lot of us to have been served a beer by Clint Eastwood. A very nice gentleman that treated servicemen very well.

Anyone mention Tom Sellick yet? OK, how about some ladies.... there are a ton of them. I'll start with ... give me a minute... it'll come to me. LOL There are a lot of them. I hesitate to name some because they're pinko liberals that I detest their political views. Ok Meryle Streep, God help me for saying her name because she's a traitor..... Jane Fonda. I hate her more than anyone or anything in the world. She should be in prison.

Audrey hepburn is number one, then Reese Witherspoon. Both are two of the greatest actresses of their time

Steroids are bad, they cause facial twitches and delusional sense of giving 110 percent.
