My dad shoots a crossbow and was wondering if the rage 2 blade would shoot out of his ten point?

I don't shoot a crossbow but am somewhat reluctant to try them. I haven't had much luck with mechanicals.

    Agree !!

My friends were given Parker cross-guns, and, this was the topic of a few conversations. I do believe that they have all elected to use cut-on-contact heads out of their cross-rifles.

A hunting buddy shoots them out of his excaliber at over 350fps, no problems what so ever. He also does not use a rubber band around them.

Slip Cam in a crossbow = BAD IDEA. they open upon leaving the bow. If you're going to spend the money, try something more like a NAP spitfire. 3 blade, doesn't open until it hits it's mark.

My uncle shoots them out of his X-bow. He's killed three or four bucks with them (the regular rage 2 blades) and never had a problem.

Have you ever actually shot them from a crossbow? Or are you like most ppl and just believe whatever you hear? My whole family use Rage 3blade. My dad shoots a crossbow at 308 fps and hasn't had a problem using them. Only real problem I've had is rushing a shot and hitting shoulder blade. I know, a lot of people will say it wouldn't have been a problem with a fixed blade... Well, it wouldn't have been a problem if I had taken my time, either. Still recovered the deer, Just not as quickly as I would have liked. That happens with fixed blade BH's too. Don't believe every bad thing you hear until you try things for yourself. I have nothing against fixed blades, it's just my preference to use Rage. The debate will go on forever, I say use what you're comfortable with and leave each person to their own.

The new rage broadheads like the extreme 2.3 and the chisel all have the new shock collar system. They hold the blades alot tighter so i think if you shot them then they would be fine.
