    Excellent Broadhead

I shot them last year with great results and great bloodtrails. The only downside is that spider clip. They can be a bit finicky to reset. When I put on a new clip, I work the blades through the clips a couple of times. This ensures faster, easier opening yet still holds the blades in place .

I asked this same question about a month ago lol... Since they are still pretty new not a lot of people have tried them... But the people that have talked them up with only a few bad reviews... The only bad reviews were talking about the clips opening up on the slightest bump.... but I would say 90% of everyone liked them... I am trying them this year for the first time so I am really looking forward to it.

    Happy hunting!

I shot the T2's and loved them, haven't had a chance to try the T3's yet but if they are anything like the 2's they will be deadly. and Rage sucks shot a doe at 20yds through the front shoulder and the blades broke.

Doesn't sound like the broadheads fault to me........shoot em in the lungs! Sounds more like operator error than mechanical failure.......

Speaking of pencils, it's kinda funny "mechanical" pencil lead seems to break easier than standard pencil lead. Haha sorry, just had to do it. Hunt with what you're confortable with. Looks like the G5 T3 isn't too bad of a head from the reviews

That was a good one! :-) I do like the fact that the t3 are steel!:) I have been looking at them, but only out of curiosity. Still love my rage! Been experimenting with the Grizztrick for a spot and stalk black bear on vancouver Island. SO far pretty impressed!

I tried them last year because I thought the same thing most everyone else did. The tekans (t2) are a nice head, all steel construction, clips not o-rings. Problem is the T3's clips, they compress way to easy, you then have to bend them back, always wondering if there is enough pressure they don't open in flight. The clips would compress if bumped on the quiver, and type of stick or twig. The only type of hunting I'd even consider them on personally is treestand hunting, but then you have the concern of G5 to me don't make the sharpest blades in the world. Lots of better designed heads on the market these days.

they left a real big hole and when through rib well. and the broadhead held up great. Once you figure the clips out, they hold really well

    Well said!
I do not care what other broadheads anyone is shooting.
As far as RAGE are concerned I put down 11 of 11 deer with them from 10 yards to just over 40 yards.
But I am asking about the G5-T3's
I really can not believe that there is this much drama over a flippin BH.
