Didn't get drawn for a Mn bear license this year. 1st time since 1996. What shall I do from mid August through September??
As long as someone gets drawn out of the 6 of us I'd love to be camp *****!! So far, 2 of us didn't get drawn. 4 haven't checked yet.
That's a bummer Steve, bear hunting is in your blood. I did get drawn in my first attempt in a few years. Looking forward to it.
Maybe with the new license regs you will be lucky enough to grab one of the surplus licenses. There's still hope!!!!!! Someone will forget or won't be serious about hunting.
Steve, did you see they are re-drawing the bear lottery results? Apparently the results on the site were wrong. Keep your fingers crossed!
Struck out there too, checked this morning. I talked with Will Nelson (imyourhuckleberry) yesterday, he wants me out In Wyoming mid August to do an Antelope hunt with him If I didn't get drawn for a Mn bear license. Tough decision to make considering I might be buying a new milk truck here soon. Had tons and tons of trouble with mine since January. I was hoping to do this earlier then that but one of my part time guys who takes half of my night runs just told me he's quiting June 19th (Fathers Day weekend). This might be a nasty summer for time off for myself If I don't find someone to replace him. You tease Dan!!!
Did you have a inside scoop? I have been checking Dnr website daily and the new results were just posted today.

No Inside scoop. Last Friday they said the lottery re run was done and you could check so I did. 2 hours later they said It had to be re run again for the 3rd time. Yesterday morning the results were ready and sure enough I struck out again, oh well. Good luck Ron bear hunting this year!! Good luck Kyle elk hunting!
Bummer bro! We have a points system here in Wi and I am up to 7 or 8 and I probably need a few more before I get to go. BTW I get 1 point per year.
