I know everywhere is different but on my last sit I found that mixing up my buck grunts seemed to work. I would do a short one, a couple longer ones than a couple shorter ones. I brought in a small 3x3 and potentially brought the big guy to me the same way.

Yeah, I've been trying to learn from YouTube videos. Just got a chance to watch the video, hard to see on a small screen and the glare but he looks to be a solid 10. Curious to know what he scores but kind of scared to know at the same time.

Got a few good shots of him, can't tell if he had brows or not so may be a 8 or 9

I'll post it once I get back home. When he was about 70 yds and still walking away I tried to get louder with the grunt, sounds more like a kazoo. I'm curious to hear what kind of score people put on him. After watching the video he's definitely bigger than I thought, especially if he has both brows.

Finally have an afternoon sighting. Been hearing sporadic grunts all day long. Got a couple does off to my left now. Hope they have slob in tow

Nothing like live decoys they've now bedded down 50 yds in front of me, right where slob cut through. Only have a gimped up spike in tow right now

    First one

Second, first is behind tree spike back in thick stuff

It's ok I'm letting out a few can calls with some grunts after every shot. Deer just think it's a rough neighborhood, ghetto deer.

Hate to imagine what happens next weekend. Someone probably be firing a cannon or mortar launcher

It's right beside Calgary, Alberta. The weather all week is going to be just over or under -10. I'm not looking forward to it, although it might mean more hunting time for me, just some really cold hunting time. Good luck in Sask. Are you going through a guide out there?

Good luck everyone. We got 3" of blowing snow over night and it's -8 deg C. So 18 deg F for most of ya. I'm hoping we will have some good movement. I took all the AA batteries from home so I should be able to at least get some pics.

Yeah we are, non residents have to hunt with a guide in Sask. Its an outfitter that we have been hunting with for the last 10+ years, pretty much family at this point it seems. killed a 172" 5X6 last year decided to bring the bow this year, but its going to be tough with the weather. Good luck!

I'm donne freezing. I had a tiny spike come by early than a good sized buck come in around 930 and suprise me from behind and spooked when I moved to see him.
