Nope, My internal frame doesn't have any metal in it. Can you take the stays out and pack them in with your checked baggage?

Thanks I've had a look at the construction and it really is a simple job to remove the aluminium stays. Job done!!

    Dave,

Plenty of fire wood about now. The forest service wiped out nearly every tree around the camp site. The wood was push up into piles. It's easy pickins.

I took Grant to the east side of hgwy 24. We got into heaps of sign...

Word is the Kiwi arrowed a muley tonight. He hit it back, from what I understand. It'll hopefully be recovered in the morn.

Steve. Stop if you need to. Don't kill yourself by pushing it. The elk will be here, that I promise! Be safe , eh?

    That goes for everyone driving!

Yep, it's gonna be a blast!!

Now, if I could only remember what it was that I'm supposed to pick up on my way there. Hhmm?? Seems like I have to swing by Australia for something. Nah, that's too far out of the way. Oh well, maybe I'll remember later.

Lol...Waid, you ever seen a petite pommie blow a gasket? It's messy!

Steve called and said he was coursing through the last part of Nebraska.

The buck was recovered. I guess it's a toad! I'll post more when I have it.....

Yeah, yeah, yeah,... I hear ya. Don't worry, I'll grab em for ya.

It's just a guess right now, but I'm gonna say around noon on Saturday hopefully a couple hours sooner.
Chad and Jim will be at my house Thursday eve before I get home from work. We'll load up as much as we can that night. Up early Friday morn, kiss the wife and boy and drive 2 hours to Steve's in Houston. Load his gear and head north to Russ' place. I hope to be there before he goes to work. If not, I'll swing by Wallyworld and see if they have a suction cup bow and an Indian head band with a couple feathers.
Just kiddin. All is in order for the pickup. Anyway, after the stop at Russ', we'll be on our way.

    Where's pics of the buck??

Getting pumped reading the final threads! Grats to the kiwis -looks like they are one up on the Britts *snicker snicker*
Did my final run down on the truck yesterday after work-decided to "pull and yank" on the axles while I was finishing an oil job-in disbelief I got alot of play in the drivers side axle!! Ripped out the axle after work today-going to finish putting her together tommorrow after work....looks like I may get out "on time" after all!!
Will-I'll haul a propane tank up, along with some disposable plates , cups etc. Have a couple of pots, some axis meat, and whatever else I can help with-let me know...
I need to know where camp is/where to meet up -woo hoo, see you all soon!!

    Here Tony, a link:

    http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Mi...8&geocode=CITY

Find Redcliff and proceed down highway 24 until you reach NF- Road 705 (on the west side of 24). In the past, we have camped right where 705 meets 24. It's a great level spot and most vehicles can get to this location (critical for those without 4 wheel drive). This would be the epicenter. From here, we will hunt both sides of Highway 24 (all directions). Some of us will go up 705, some up Homestake Rd, some towards the Camp Hale summer huts
